Stem Cell donor search for CML patient Yes No I am a nurse caring for a lady from Kazakhstan who now lives in Scotland, UK.

She has CML which was diagnosed in Almaty in 2004, but unfortunately she has failed to respond to Imatinib and also now nilotinib and we hope to perform a stem cell transplant.

She has one brother who currently lives in Almaty and I am trying to find out if it is possible to perform HLA Tissue Typing blood sampling in Almaty to identify if he would be a suitable stem cell donor.

I hoped that you might have a contacct name for someone in Almaty who may be able to help with this sampling or know of an intstitution I can contact directly.

Many thanks.
