The European Hematology Association (EHA) has already opened the Fellowship Application and Registration process by providing 60 free congress registrations for leaders of hematology patient organisations. This year, EHA has increased their fellowship and is offering an additional 10 fellowships, to provide patient advocates the opportunity to attend the 24th annual EHA congress which is taking place in Amsterdam from June 13-16, 2019.
If you are a representative of a CML patient organisation in Europe, you can apply for an EHA Fellowship and attend the EHA Congress at Amsterdam
For the first time, both Patient Advocacy Track and EHA Advocacy Sessions have been upgraded and merged into the Joint Eha-Patient Symposium on Policy Challenges in Haematology. More information about Advocacy Sessions will be provided by the organisation soon.
For more information about the European Hematology Association Congress, the exciting Program and what is on offer by EHA this year, please visit their website HERE.
Deadline for applications: 9th April 2019
You can apply for free registration of the Congress now, (EHA Fellowship), by completing the application form that you can access by clicking HERE
Please note that these Fellowships are available only to representatives of patient organisations, not for patients in their individual interest.
The free registration allows full access to the scientific congress, but will NOT cover travel or accommodation costs.
EHA is requiring all EHA Fellowship receivers to attend the Capacity Building Program and the Patient Advocacy Session which will take place on:
- Thursday 13th June from 14:00-17:00
- Saturday 15th June from 8:00-12:45 (Part I) and
- Saturday 15th June from 14:45-17:15 (Part II).
Participation in the Capacity Building Program is mandatory for all EHA Fellows, and not participating may hinder your chances of future EHA Fellowships, please ensure that you will be able to attend this session.
We are looking forward to seeing many CML patient advocates at this 24th EHA Congress in Amsterdam!
