More than 10.000 hematologists coming from all over the world, patient organisations, patient advocates representing hematological diseases and other stakeholders will be attending this impressive meeting. Up to 60 free congress registrations were offered to patient advocates, including more than 20 advocates interested in CML, so we hope there will be strong patient attendance!

Where to find us: the EHA Collaboration Plaza
This year EHA has developed a special area to bring together patient organizations, professional networks (hematology nurses, Scientific Working Groups) and partners in European Projects and Alliances. With the Collaboration Plaza EHA offers a central space where to connect, engage and interact.
Located at the entrance of the Exhibition Hall coming from the EHA Booth area, it is where patients and medical professionals, industry and academia, public and private, policy and science meet and join forces.

The CML Advocates Network will join the Collaboration Plaza space within our colleagues of the other 13 patient organisations sharing this common booth. We will be very happy to connect, engage and interact with all of you at this patient’s meeting point!
How to access to the #EHA24 Congress
By this time, patient advocates should individually have received by email registration confirmation. This year, the entire fellowship group of patient advocates has received a“VIP” invitation, so the patient advocates’ badges will be ready at the VIP desk to pick them up.

The Capacity Building: Thursday, June 13th, 14:00 – 17:00 h, A Room G102
This is a mandatory session for the entire group of fellowship receivers so patient advocates are called to register and sign the attendance list at the main door of the Room G102 located on the first floor.
- 14:00 to 15:30 Plenary Session, A Room G102
- This session is common for the entire group and mandatory for fellowship receivers, including two talks: our co-founder Jan Geissler, “How to get the best of EHA” and Chaienna Schreuder-Morel, Project Manager of EUnetHTA with “European cooperation on HTA”.
- 16:35 to 17:00 Chronic Myeloid Leukemia Breakout Session, A Room G102
- We are glad to bring the CML patient advocates the participation of the CML Expert Tim Brümmendorf joining us to give us a brief overview of what is being presented at EHA on CML.
Patient Advocacy Social Event: Thursday, June 13th 19:30 h, Cafe Duende Tapas Bar, Lindengracht 62, 1015 KJ Amsterdam.
It will be an informal networking meeting to provide the entire #EHA24 patient advocates community with a space to share making useful connections not only for the Congress but also for the future.

EHA-Patient Joint Policy Symposium: Saturday, June 15, 8:00 – 17:15h, Emerald Room
For the first time this year, the programme includes this mandatory session for all fellowship receivers as the “EHA-Patient Joint Policy Symposium” presenting very much interesting topics and discussions as the following:
Access to treatment, How to ensure patient access to innovation and affordability; Role of Patient-Reported Outcomes (PRO) in haematology, time to see its value; Managing the hype on CAR T-cell therapy. Perspectives on CAR T cells and other cellular therapies in haematology; Regulating innovative therapies: Regulating personalized medicine trials, Raising the bar for drug approvals.
