Jan 27, 2023

The 64th ASH Annual Meeting and Exposition took place from the 10th to the 13th of December, 2022 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.

CML Advocates Network had representatives attending the conference. The advocates were participating in several activities and sessions. Our co-founder Jan Geissler was invited to give a presentation on the importance of patient involvement in data-driven blood cancer research within the HARMONY Alliance special session.

Zack Pemberton-Whiteley, a member of our Steering Committee presented a poster with results of a multi-country survey on experiences and views of leukemia patients which was a joint activity between ALAN, CML AN and CLL AN. Have a closer look at the poster HERE.

Other patient advocates; Gerald Clements, Lisa Machado, Pat García-González, Denis Costello, Samantha Nier, and Eglys González, were also participating across many sessions during the conference, representing CML Advocates Network.

Our advocates have prepared a conference report that summarises the key CML highlights of interest to the patient advocacy community. You can download the report here:
