What is the purpose of the study

This is an observational study to assess how the organizational model of the hematology center (e.g. how the center is structured or what its workflow looks like) influence the quality of life of patients with CML.

What will happen during the study

The study uses standardized questionnaires to assess the patient experience and perceived quality of care within the Rete Ematologica Lombarda (REL) network. The REL network is a prominent Italian network focused on improving the care of leukemia patients.

Key inclusion criteria

his study includes patients of all sexes who:

  • are aged 18 years and older.
  • have been diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML).
  • have been diagnosed with CML under care at the hematology outpatient clinics of the 21 REL centers.
  • have been followed at the reference hematology center for at least 6 months.

Key exclusion criteria

This registry does not include patients who:

  • do not give their informed consent to participating.
  • ado not meet the inclusion criteria.
