CML Horizons 2026 – Registration is NOW OPEN!

Registration is now open for the 24th CML Horizons: Learn. Share. Grow.  our annual global conference that brings together CML advocates, clinicians, and experts to exchange knowledge, strengthen networks, and advance our shared mission to improve the lives of people living with CML.

Dates: 19–21 April 2026
Location: Tbilisi, Georgia
Venue: Sheraton Grand Tbilisi Metechi Palace

We’re pleased to announce that CML Horizons 2026 will take place in Tbilisi, Georgia – a city that beautifully blends rich history with modern energy. This year’s in-person conference will once again unite our global community in an environment that encourages open dialogue, collaboration, and learning. Whether you are joining us for the first time or returning as part of this growing network, we look forward to welcoming you to a space where we continue to Learn. Share. Grow.

The 2026 programme brings together a balanced mix of medical and advocacy sessions designed to strengthen knowledge, skills, and collaboration across the CML community.

The conference will open with discussions on access to CML diagnostics and therapies, exploring real-world experiences and practical solutions for overcoming treatment gaps. Medical sessions will focus on CML management in everyday settings, new and emerging therapies, and special cases such as pregnancy, fertility, mental health, and drug safety.

Advocates will also take part in hands-on workshops on using AI in daily advocacy work, building sustainable patient organisations, and shared decision-making between patients and clinicians. The programme will include updates on CMLAN’s ongoing projects and collaborations, regional meetings, and the Best Practice Session, where selected advocates will present successful initiatives from around the world. Designed to be both informative and hands-on, CML Horizons 2026 will provide a space to learn from one another, facilitate connections, and practical tools to strengthen CML advocacy and patient care at home.

Submitting a poster is one of the most engaging ways to take part in CML Horizons 2026. Your work will be featured in a dedicated poster area throughout the conference, giving every delegate the chance to see advocacy projects and initiatives making an impact around the world. It’s a great opportunity to share your achievements, exchange ideas, and spark new collaborations.

As an added benefit, organisations that submit a poster may bring a second delegate with the conference fee waived (please note that travel costs will still apply for the second delegate). Sharing your work not only helps others learn from your experience  it also brings your organisation a stronger presence within our global community.

We’ll also host in-person regional meetings for all six regions before the official opening of the conference. These meetings provide a valuable space for advocates from each region to reconnect, discuss key priorities, and strengthen cooperation within their networks.

This year’s conference will also open nominations for the CML Advocates Network Steering Committee in the Asia & Pacific and Latin America regions, where current terms are coming to an end. If you’re passionate about improving CML care and want to play a role in shaping the future of our global network, this is your chance to step forward or to nominate a dedicated peer from your region who shares that same commitment. Serving on the Steering Committee is an opportunity to help guide strategy, share perspectives from your region, and contribute to decisions that strengthen the CML community worldwide.

Please note: Georgia is not part of the Schengen Area, and visa requirements vary depending on your nationality. Many countries — including most of Europe, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and the United States — can enter Georgia visa-free for up to one year. Delegates who require a visa should register by 28 February 2026 to allow sufficient time for processing and travel arrangements.

During 2026, the European Entry/Exit System (EES) and European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) may come into effect for travellers entering the Schengen Area. These systems do not apply to entry into Georgia, but delegates transiting through a Schengen country should check for any updates closer to their travel dates.

Be sure to register early to secure your place at CML Horizons 2026  an opportunity to connect, contribute, and be part of shaping the next chapter of our CML community.
