Scholarship Application

Tbilisi, Georgia will host CML Horizons 2026, and registration will again be available for up to three participants per organisation.

To ensure that as many organisations as possible benefit from participation, CML Horizons 2026 offers several scholarship options:

Option 1 – Full Scholarship
A full scholarship will be provided for the first delegate from each eligible patient organisation. The scholarship includes an economy-class return flight, accommodation for the duration of the conference, and waiver of the conference fee. Please discuss your participation with your organisation’s leader before submitting the registration form.

Option 2 – Second Delegate (Poster Requirement)
To qualify for a second delegate from the same organisation, a poster highlighting one of your CML-related projects or advocacy initiatives must be submitted.
If this requirement is met, the conference fee (EUR 800) will be waived, but travel costs will need to be covered by your organisation or the participant. This option recognises the value of sharing your organisation’s work and encourages active contribution to the global advocacy community.

Option 3 – Third Delegate
A third delegate from the same organisation is welcome to attend at their own expense, covering both travel and the EUR 800 conference fee.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply under any of the above options, participants must:

  • Be a staff member or volunteer of a CML patient organisation that is an active member of the CML Advocates Network, with at least one new activity or project report submitted within the past three years.
    Please note: the report or activity submitted must not be the same as one provided for previous conference participation.
  • Or be in the process of establishing a recognised CML patient organisation; and
  • Be actively involved in CML advocacy activities and able to initiate or expand new initiatives after the conference; and
  • Have sufficient English to participate effectively in sessions and discussions.

The registration form will include these scholarship options, and applicants will need to indicate which one applies before submitting the form.
