The majority of delegates are expected to arrive in Tbilisi on Saturday, 18 April 2026, while some may arrive early on Sunday morning depending on flight schedules.
The conference will officially begin on Sunday morning, 19 April, with regional meetings, which are mandatory for all delegates. Following the regional meetings, participants will join one of two parallel sessions — CML 101 (for newcomers) or CML 102 (for experienced advocates).
A welcome lunch will follow at midday, leading into the official opening session and welcome in the afternoon. The programme will conclude with a farewell lunch on Tuesday, 21 April 2026, after which delegates may depart.
Please note that no meals or beverages will be provided on Saturday (arrival day) or after the farewell lunch on Tuesday.
Travel Arrangements for Patient Advocates, Steering Committee, and Speakers
The Horizons team will coordinate flight bookings for the first delegate from each patient organisation, Steering Committee members, and invited speakers.
If this applies to you, please do not book your own flight. Instead, include your preferred travel dates, departure airport, and times in your registration form.
As a non-profit organisation, we aim to secure the most economical and practical flight options for all participants. Tickets are typically booked for the duration of the three-day conference and, in most cases, include hand luggage only. Some airlines may include one checked suitcase, but this varies by carrier and route. Once your ticket has been issued, please check directly with the airline to confirm baggage allowances.
Important; if checked baggage is not included, any additional baggage costs are the responsibility of the delegate.
Early registration helps us secure suitable flights and ensures smooth coordination of transfers.
Travel Arrangements for Second and Third Delegates
The second and third delegates from the same organisation, are responsible for booking and paying for their own flights to Tbilisi International Airport (TBS).
Free local transport between the airport and the Sheraton Grand Tbilisi Metechi Palace will be provided by the organisers.
Once travel details are confirmed, please send your itinerary to Nikola Nikolov at nikola@cmladvocates.net no later than 5th April 2026 so that airport transfers can be arranged.
Travel Arrangements for Sponsors’ Representatives
Sponsors are responsible for booking and paying for their own flights.
The Horizons organising team will arrange hotel reservations on behalf of sponsor representatives, while
payment for accommodation will be made directly to the hotel.
Airport transfers will be organised once flight details are received at least two weeks prior to arrival.
Travel and Transport in Tbilisi
Tbilisi International Airport (TBS) is located about 20–25 minutes by car from the Sheraton Grand Tbilisi Metechi Palace, depending on traffic.
Delegates will receive logistics update approx. 7 days before the event.
Transport back to the airport will also be coordinated by the Horizons team and pickup times will be displayed at conference area and lobby.
