Visas

Visa requirements for Georgia depend on your nationality. Many countries  including most of Europe, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, the United States, and large parts of Latin America and Asia  can enter Georgia visa-free for up to one year.

To confirm whether you need a visa, please visit the official Georgian government site: www.evisa.gov.ge.

If you do require a visa, you can apply easily online through the Georgian e-Visa Portal. Once approved, you’ll receive an electronic visa that can be printed and shown on arrival.

You may be asked to present:

  • A valid passport (recommended validity of at least six months beyond your planned departure date)
  • Proof of accommodation (hotel booking or invitation letter)
  • Proof of onward or return travel
  • Evidence of sufficient financial means for your stay

Typical processing time is approx. 20-30 working days, but this can vary depending on your country and the season. To avoid delays, please register and begin your visa process by 15th January 2026 so there’s adequate time for documentation and travel arrangements.

For this reason, Lidija will send you support documents before applying to ensure everything is in order.

Required Documents for Visa Application:

  • Flight Itinerary
  • Hotel Confirmation
  • Invitation letters from:
    • Local patient organisation (The Alliance of Chronic Myeloid Leukemia Patients of Georgia)
    • CML Advocates Network (LePAF), confirming that all costs, including travel, accommodation, and meals, will be covered by LePAF.

Please ensure your passport is valid for at least six months before the event. If you need assistance with your visa application, don’t hesitate to contact Lidija at lidija@cmladvocates.net or +389 7838 8235 (available via WhatsApp, Viber, or Telegram).
