European LeukemiaNet (ELN) Recommendations for CML
The European LeukemiaNet (ELN) brings together leading experts from across Europe to develop evidence-based recommendations for the diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). These guidelines are widely used by healthcare professionals to support clinical decision-making and ensure high standards of care.
As treatment options and scientific knowledge continue to evolve, the ELN regularly updates its recommendations to reflect the latest advances in CML management. The most recent update was published in July 2025.
Patient-Friendly ELN Recommendations
While the ELN recommendations are essential for clinicians, they can be complex and difficult to navigate for patients and caregivers. To address this, we at CML Advocates Network have developed patient-friendly versions of the ELN Recommendations.
These summaries are designed to:
- Explain key concepts in clear, accessible language
- Help patients better understand their treatment and monitoring
- Support more informed discussions with healthcare providers
- Empower patient advocates in their work and communities
