NEW-ELN Recommendations 2025
The therapeutic landscape of CML continues to evolve, prompting the European LeukemiaNet to convene an expert panel to review the latest evidence and update its previous recommendations. The new “European LeukemiaNet 2025 recommendations for treating chronic myeloid leukemia” published in July 2025 reflect the most recent advances in CML management and patient care.
To improve access to this important information and support patients in understanding these updates, the CML Advocates Network has once again developed a patient-friendly summary of the ELN Recommendations 2025. The English version is now available on our website, and we are currently working on translating it into: Arabic, Chinese (Simplified), Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, French, Georgian, German, Hebrew, Italian, Macedonian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Spanish, and Turkish to further expand accessibility. Keep an eye out on our socials to see when we launch each language.
This initiative is a genuinely patient-led project, designed to help people living with CML better understand their treatment and diagnostics, and to support more informed and confident communication with their healthcare providers. If you want to take a look at our 2020 patient friendly version of the ELN recommendations, you can do so HERE.
And NEW for 2026! A ‘Quick Patients guide’, a short 4-page document which includes the main points of the recent ELN recommendations, but targeted to newly diagnosed patients to help them with their CML diagnosis. To be published in the next few weeks!
