HOW TO GET A VISA TO MOROCCO: TIPS AND ADVICE

The nationality of the traveler determines whether or not a visa is required. Moroccan visa requirements do not apply to citizens of several countries, so they can travel to Morocco without obtaining one. For countries where Morocco is not represented, requests must be made to the diplomatic mission accredited in that country or to the Honorary Consuls. In the absence of these representations, requests will be addressed directly to the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Directorate of Consular and Social Affairs – Rabat (visa@maec.gov.ma) for a visa to be issued at the airport. Accompanying (supporting) documents that will support your visa application will be:

  • Flight Itinerary
  • Hotel Confirmation
  • Invitation letters by:
  • Local Patient organisation – AMAL
  • Local logistic agency
  • CML Advocates Network – LePAF that will detailing that all costs including travel, hotel food will be covered by LePAF

On average, Morocco visas are processed in two weeks (10 business days), but it may take longer in some cases. The processing time may be longer if you are missing any documents or if it is a busy time of year. For this reason, you should contact Lidija before applying.
